March 2017 in Photos

"Carpe diem!" ("Seize the Day!")  -Latin Aphorism

As the weather started to warm up, these two loved getting out for daily walks
Joseph continued his occupational therapy appointments with Miss Jenna, whom we have just grown to love.  After seeing her weekly to every-other-week since January, she feels like a longtime friend!  And I love watching the progress Joseph has made in working with her!

Lizzie also continued her hard work of playing on the floor during each of his OT sessions
His work with Miss Jenna vastly improved his ability to climb, too.  He loved climbing on this sunny day at the park!

We celebrated Saint Patrick's Day as a family by taking a trip to Asheboro/Randleman, where Daddy once lived, to eat lunch at Sir Pizza and visit the park down by the river that we used to visit sometimes when we were dating.

We went with Daddy to an eye appointment and turned it into a homeschool activity by bringing along an eyeball coloring sheet for Jojo...

I added a new skill to my domestic arsenal by learning to dye clothes.  Lizzie had a sweet little aqua-colored dress with a stain that absolutely would not come out, despite all my old tricks.  So what to do?  Just dye it an olive green!  Problem solved. :-)

We took a library field trip to the historic Greensboro Train Depot...

And as a family we made one of our frequent Saturday visits to the Greensboro Historical Museum...one of our favorite weekend things to do...

Joseph's tee-ball practices started and oh, it was SO much fun to watch him and his sweet little teammates!

Joseph also had a dental appointment.  As always, the dentists and staff at Lake Jeanette Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry were so wonderful!

We took a couple of random pictures one evening, watching the Heels play basketball while eating dinner at The Corner Slice at Fisher Park...

And finally, some random March pictures of the two little monkeys...

I love the crazy bed head hair that Joseph wakes up with some days

But it's also always a reminder that it's probably time to go to Huffman's to see Mr. Don, our favorite barber

We were at Harris Teeter one afternoon when Joseph struck up a conversation with a marine veteran.  He gave Joseph a staff sergeant pin!  Joseph was so proud.
A future mommy in the making <3 br="">

Lizzie and her coordinating Starbucks cup (don't worry, the cup was empty, no children were caffeinated in this incident)
