Class Cookout

"The other thing is quality of life; if you have a place where you can go and have a picnic with your family, it doesn't matter if it's a recession or not, you can include that in your quality of life." -Jim Fowler

As you can probably see from scrolling below, I updated the blog for the first time in a month with a whopping four posts. I am so sorry I have been so far behind! David and I have been working so hard on getting our house renovations done that it hasn't left much time for blogging.

Yesterday, we had a class picnic "reunion" with the current and past Marriage Foundations classes. It was really fun to hang out with our class and meet some of the members of previous classes (many of whom have adorable children now). We went to Bur-Mil Park to a shelter there that had a grill, a volleyball net, a horseshoe pit, etc. So there was a lot to do!

Before the meal started, David played a game of horseshoes with one of our class leaders, Spencer. They both had green on, so I called it "The Battle of the Green Shirts." It was fun to watch!

A little later on, it was time for grilling! David was in charge of grilling 50 hotdogs and Chris, another friend from our class, was in charge of grilling 50 hamburgers! WOW! Great job guys!!!

The food was delicious! It was really a great way to spend a GORGEOUS fall Saturday! :-)
