Lots of fun last week! We are definitely getting into our super busy but super fun time of year at our home!
Thursday
evening, we took a walk around the lake near our house. We take these
walks generally at least one evening a week. Joseph loves the fresh
air! When we get to the far side of the lake, we sit on the bench and
relax for a while. Normally Joseph doesn't like it when the movement of
the stroller stops and thus starts crying, but we managed to get a
relatively happy picture of him this time...
On
Saturday morning, we had a big yard sale in our driveway! This sale
was to raise money for our adoption fund if our final IUI fails. My
parents and my grandmother helped by getting out some stuff to sell on
our behalf, and my parents also came over to help us work the sale on
Saturday morning. Joseph had a wonderful time running around and
greeting all of our customers!
Saturday
afternoon, David and I took Joseph to J Razz. & Tazz farm in
Gibsonville, our usual pumpkin patch/corn maze spot. Picked out a
pumpkin, conqured the maze, played in a corn silo, and sat on a tractor -
what more could one want for a fall Saturday?

And the maze begins! |

Somebody's getting a LITTLE cranky! |

After
J Razz & Tazz we went Ham's for dinner so that we could watch the
UNC/Notre Dame and MS State/Auburn games. I think we all know how the
UNC game turned out (insert sad face here), but MS State beat Auburn and
is now ranked the number one team in the country! GO DAWGS! So proud
of them!!!
And by the end of the weekend all the fun
had apparently worn Joseph out. Rocking him to sleep each night is one
of my favorite parts of the day, especially when he falls asleep so
soundly. Love my little man!
