November 2016

November's calm was a nice rest from our busy October! Here's a look at some things we did...

Our friend Emily came from Charlotte to visit one day! It was a weekday and sadly David had to work, but Jojo, Lizzie, and I had a ball hanging out with her! We visited at our house, went out to lunch, and spent some time at one of our favorite local parks. It was so good to see her!

It's, as Joseph would say, "Miss Eeeeeeemmmmily!"

Sticks & Stones!

The following weekend, on a much colder day (welcome to NC weather!), David and I took the kids back to the same park because, well, who doesn't love being outside?

You can't see her but, believe it or not, Lizzie was swinging with me here, completely snuggled in that brown wrap. ;-)

We also went to the UNC Homecoming game and ate a delicious alumnae brunch at my sorority house beforehand!

Reunited with one of my sorority sisters, Sharon, and her sweet little boy!

And there was, of course, Thanksgiving! A wonderful lunch with my parents and grandmother at the Koury Center followed by a fall walk around our neighborhood lake!

She would NOT STOP chewing on her smocking!

I've been trying to focus more and more on taking pictures of the kiddos playing together. I'm absolutely astounded at just how much they love each other and just how little jealousy there is from Joseph of his baby sister (seriously, pretty much none). Watching them together is such a joy!
